Greetings and salutations!
As an educator for over 11 years, I am very enthusiastic about providing you, the student, a new medium – the blog – in your pursuit of information. In addition to the information provided in the blog, you will also gain a greater insight into the personalities of your instructors, peers, and the professionals who blog about the current events and topics related to the field of study in which you are interested.
I recently rejoined the education department of Ashworth University as the Curriculum Developer of Diploma Courses; However, I have been with the school for most of the past nine years, primarily as the Curriculum Development Manager for the high school program.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Georgia State University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Georgia, as well as career experience with local school systems.
Outside of Ashworth University, I enjoy writing feature articles for a local magazine, and hiking and fishing in north Georgia. Other interests include debating foreign policy and national politics, playing golf, and following local athletic teams – GO DAWGS!
