Hello everybody, I am Luis Olano, Academic Coordinator at Ashworth University. I was born and raised in Peru. I graduated from The Center of Formation in Tourism (CENFOTUR) in Lima Peru. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality with twenty-two years of experience in the Travel Industry.

I migrated to the US back on 1989 and lived for more than a decade in Florida, and almost three years in Puerto Rico. I am proud to have become a US Citizen and glad to live in Georgia for more than two and a half years now. I am blessed to be married to a beautiful wife and I am a proud parent of a wonderful little girl of almost four years old that lights up our lives each and every day. 

I enjoy traveling, obviously, as well as learning from different cultures and their languages.

I always consider myself a citizen of the world. While I was in school I was learning English, German and Italian. But since everything in life is practice, guess what happened to the other two languages. Maybe one of these days I’ll start over again.
