Hi, I’m Nicole. I’m the Associate Registrar of Ashworth University. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from New College of Florida. I was lucky enough to go to college on the beautiful beaches of Sarasota. My school was built on the Ringling Brothers property (the circus folks!) so I got to attend some classes in the enchanting old Ringling Mansion with a view of the bay. Some people refer to New College as a “hippie school” but I like to think of it as a very liberal, unique, and amazing educational opportunity. I was able to “create” my own courses when a topic of interest was not offered, we received evaluations instead of grades for each course, and I met some of the smartest (and strangest) people ever.

I also completed graduate work in Child Development & Family Studies at Purdue University. I worked as a preschool teacher before coming to Ashworth University, I’ve tutored high school students, and I’ve worked with elementary and middle school students as well. I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
In my spare time I enjoy creating art (pen & ink and photography), working on my new house, watching cheesy horror movies, hanging out with my amazing friends, and spending time with my pets. In the near future I plan on learning how to play the drums, so when I become a famous rock star you can say you knew me when.
These are my babies:

This is Maggie, my Shih-tzu mix.

This is Barbara Jean, my cat.
This is Solomon, my Rottweiler mix.
